Comparison of the best CPQ tools for Salesforce in 2026, with MonetizeNow ranked first

The short answer: The best CPQ for Salesforce in 2026 is MonetizeNow for B2B SaaS teams that need Quoting and Billing to run off one contract, followed by Salesforce Revenue Cloud, DealHub, Conga, Nue, Zuora CPQ, PROS and Oracle CPQ. Salesforce CPQ is end of sale, so new buyers are choosing between Revenue Cloud and a CRM-agnostic CPQ.

Key takeaways

  • MonetizeNow is the best CPQ for Salesforce teams that sell subscriptions, usage or credits, because Quoting, Billing, Usage Metering and Revenue Recognition share one live contract.
  • Salesforce no longer sells Salesforce CPQ to new customers and points new buyers to Revenue Cloud Advanced, which Salesforce lists at $200 per user per month.
  • A CPQ for Salesforce doesn't have to be built on Salesforce. What matters is that quotes, quote lines and opportunity products land in native Salesforce objects.
  • The best test for any CPQ for Salesforce is a mid-term amendment: an upgrade, a co-term and a usage overage, quoted and billed without a workaround.

Most "best CPQ for Salesforce" lists rank tools by one question: how native is it? Then they stop at the first quote. That's the easy part. The hard part is month seven, when the customer adds seats, buys more credits and wants it all co-termed to one renewal date.

I spent about a decade implementing NetSuite before I moved into sales leadership, so I've seen what happens downstream when the quote and the invoice disagree. Finance finds out at month-end close. This list is built around that problem, not around the demo.

Full disclosure: MonetizeNow is our product, and it's ranked first. Every other entry is described from the vendor's own materials or public reviews, so you can check the work.

Is Salesforce CPQ still an option in 2026?

Salesforce CPQ is not an option for new customers in 2026. Salesforce describes Salesforce CPQ as "end of sale, not end of life": existing customers keep getting support and critical fixes, and Salesforce has not announced an end-of-life date. New buyers are pointed to Revenue Cloud Advanced, which Salesforce calls the successor to Salesforce CPQ (Salesforce CPQ end-of-sale FAQ).

That leaves Salesforce teams with three choices:

  • Stay on Salesforce CPQ if you already own it and it works. You can renew, but the product's future is Revenue Cloud.
  • Move to Revenue Cloud, Salesforce's own Quoting, contracts and Billing product, now marketed as part of Agentforce Revenue Management.
  • Pick a CRM-agnostic CPQ that runs its own pricing engine and writes results back to Salesforce.

If you're on Salesforce CPQ today, the end-of-sale notice isn't an emergency. It is a good reason to ask whether your next five years of amendments and renewals should run on a rebuild of the same design.

Does a CPQ for Salesforce need to be Salesforce-native?

A CPQ for Salesforce does not need to be built on Salesforce, but its data needs to land in Salesforce. Reps should start quotes from the opportunity, and quotes, quote lines and opportunity products should show up in standard Salesforce objects so reporting and forecasting stay accurate. Where the pricing engine runs is a separate decision.

CPQ tools connect to Salesforce in three ways:

  • Built on Salesforce. The CPQ lives inside your Salesforce org as Salesforce objects and code. Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, Nue and Zuora CPQ work this way. Reps never leave Salesforce, but every pricing change is a Salesforce admin change, and complex builds usually need certified admins or a partner.
  • Connected to a larger suite. Oracle CPQ connects to Salesforce through a managed package, but it's built around Oracle's own business applications, so Salesforce is one connection among several Oracle systems.
  • CRM-agnostic. The CPQ runs its own pricing engine and connects to more than one CRM, writing quotes back to each CRM's native objects. In Salesforce, that means quotes, quote lines and opportunity products land in standard objects. MonetizeNow, DealHub, PROS and Conga's Advantage edition work this way. RevOps changes pricing without touching Salesforce code, and you aren't locked in if you run Salesforce and HubSpot today or switch CRMs later.

The "native" pitch is about where the screen lives. The admin bill is about how much custom logic sits in your org. A finance manager at a Salesforce-based SaaS company told us, "customization is terrifying," after years of paying a consultant for every change. That's a reasonable position, and it's why the next section focuses on what happens after the first quote.

What should a SaaS company look for in a CPQ for Salesforce?

A SaaS company should look for a CPQ for Salesforce that handles the full life of a contract, not just the first quote. New-logo quotes are easy for every tool on this list. The difference shows up in amendments, renewals and the hand-off to Billing.

Here are the five tests I'd use:

  1. Amendments from the live contract. Upgrades, downgrades, co-terms and prorations should start from what the customer already owns. In our deal reviews, a common renewal complaint is that renewals start blank, as if the customer were brand new. One CTO summed it up: "right now, renewals are a real nightmare."
  2. Pricing rules and approvals without developers. RevOps should be able to change products, price books, discount rules and approval chains with clicks, not code, and test changes in a sandbox first.
  3. Usage, credits and hybrid pricing. If you sell prepaid credits, minimum commitments or overages, the CPQ has to quote them and Billing has to bill them the same way.
  4. Billing on the same catalog. Every sync between Quoting and Billing is a game of telephone. The message changes a little at every hop, and the invoice ends up saying something the quote never did. If you're re-evaluating Billing too, see our guide to Maxio alternatives for SaaS billing.
  5. Clean data in Salesforce. Quotes, quote lines, opportunity products and account hierarchies should sync to standard Salesforce objects, so ARR and pipeline reports stay accurate. Here's how a fully automated CPQ-to-Salesforce workflow should run.

The best CPQ tools for Salesforce in 2026

The best CPQ tools for Salesforce in 2026, in order, are MonetizeNow, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, DealHub, Conga CPQ, Nue, Zuora CPQ, PROS Smart CPQ and Oracle CPQ. G2 ratings are as of October 2026.

1. MonetizeNow

  • Best for: B2B SaaS and AI-native companies on Salesforce that sell subscriptions, usage or credits through a sales team.
  • Why it's on the list: MonetizeNow, a Quote-to-Revenue solution for B2B SaaS covering CPQ, Billing, Usage Metering and Revenue Recognition, runs all four off one product catalog and one live contract. Amendments, co-terms, prorations, ramps, multi-year uplifts and early renewals start from that contract. Prepaid credits, overages and hybrid pricing are quoted and billed the same way, so a signed quote becomes the bill without translation. RevOps edits pricing, Guided Selling and approval rules with no code, and tests changes in on-demand sandboxes. MonetizeNow is rated 4.9 on G2.
  • Good to know: MonetizeNow is CRM-agnostic. Reps start a quote from the Salesforce opportunity, and MonetizeNow's Salesforce managed package writes quotes, quote lines and opportunity products back to native Salesforce objects, including usage-based pricing. MonetizeNow works with multiple Salesforce instances and doesn't replace your CRM or ERP. Its AI agent drafts and amends quotes from a plain-language request, so a rep can just say out loud what the customer wants. MonetizeNow runs implementation in-house, with an expected go-live of 2 to 4 weeks, and every customer gets a dedicated customer success team, usually in a shared Slack channel.
  • Works with: Salesforce, HubSpot and Attio, plus a public API and MCP server for AI tools.

2. Salesforce Revenue Cloud

  • Best for: Large Salesforce-standardized companies that want Quoting, contracts and Billing inside Salesforce and have the budget for a partner-led build.
  • Why it's on the list: Revenue Cloud is Salesforce's successor to Salesforce CPQ and the default answer for Salesforce-first teams. Salesforce lists Revenue Cloud Growth at $150 and Revenue Cloud Advanced at $200 per user per month, billed annually. Growth covers Quoting, configuration, order capture and subscriptions. Advanced adds contracts, orders, consumption and invoicing.
  • Good to know: Revenue Cloud is a paid add-on to Sales Cloud, and Salesforce sells Invoice Management separately. Revenue Cloud is rated 4.2 on G2, where it's now listed as Agentforce Revenue Management.
  • Works with: Salesforce only.

3. DealHub

  • Best for: Sales-led teams that want guided selling and a polished buyer-facing deal room.
  • Why it's on the list: DealHub describes its CPQ as working inside Salesforce, with deal data synced to standard objects and no coding needed. DealHub also sells subscription billing and acquired Subskribe in November 2025, with plans to fully integrate Subskribe into DealHub. DealHub is rated 4.7 on G2.
  • Good to know: DealHub doesn't publish pricing. Its pricing page lists Growth and Scale tiers with a "Request Pricing" button. If Billing is part of your evaluation, ask to see one contract go from quote to amendment to invoice in the product as it ships today.
  • Works with: Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

4. Conga CPQ

  • Best for: Large organizations with deep product catalogs, complex configuration rules and heavy contract review.
  • Why it's on the list: Conga, formerly Apttus, has sold CPQ on the Salesforce AppExchange since 2006. Conga now offers a CPQ built for Salesforce and a separate CRM-agnostic edition, plus contract lifecycle management and document generation. Conga is rated 4.2 on G2.
  • Good to know: Conga Billing is a separate product. Pricing isn't published, and complex Conga builds usually need specialist admins.
  • Works with: Salesforce, plus other CRMs through the CRM-agnostic edition.

5. Nue

  • Best for: Salesforce-only SaaS and AI companies that want CPQ and Billing inside Salesforce.
  • Why it's on the list: Nue describes itself as a native Salesforce application delivered as a managed package. Nue's CPQ runs in Salesforce, and its Billing runs on a cloud extension that invoices subscriptions and usage.
  • Good to know: Nue is built for Salesforce, so it's a fit only if Salesforce is your long-term CRM. Pricing isn't published.
  • Works with: Salesforce.

6. Zuora CPQ

  • Best for: Companies already running Zuora Billing that want quotes created in Salesforce.
  • Why it's on the list: Zuora CPQ is a managed package built on Salesforce that supports subscriptions, amendments and renewals. When a deal closes, the rep sends the quote to Zuora, which creates the subscription and handles invoicing, payments and renewal.
  • Good to know: Zuora CPQ is designed around Zuora Billing. If you aren't on Zuora, you'd be buying two systems and the connection between them.
  • Works with: Salesforce.

7. PROS Smart CPQ

  • Best for: Companies that sell configure-to-order products and want AI price recommendations.
  • Why it's on the list: PROS Smart CPQ connects to Salesforce Sales Cloud and Microsoft Dynamics 365 and describes itself as CRM-agnostic. PROS is known for pricing science, with AI guidance on what price to quote.
  • Good to know: PROS leans toward complex physical goods more than SaaS subscriptions and usage.
  • Works with: Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

8. Oracle CPQ

  • Best for: Companies with intricate product configuration that already run Oracle business applications.
  • Why it's on the list: Oracle CPQ, formerly BigMachines, connects to Salesforce through a managed package and Oracle's Integration Center, with product and bill-of-materials sync added in 2025. Oracle CPQ is rated 4.0 on G2.
  • Good to know: Oracle CPQ is built for configuration-heavy catalogs. SaaS teams with simple products and complex contracts usually find it more than they need.
  • Works with: Salesforce and Oracle applications.

Which CPQ for Salesforce fits your situation?

The right CPQ for Salesforce depends on what you sell and how much your contracts change after signature. Quick picks:

  • You sell subscriptions, usage or credits and want Quoting and Billing on one contract: MonetizeNow.
  • You run Salesforce and HubSpot, or might move between them: MonetizeNow or DealHub.
  • You're all-in on Salesforce with a big budget and a long runway: Salesforce Revenue Cloud.
  • You're already on Zuora Billing: Zuora CPQ.
  • You sell configurable physical products: Conga, PROS or Oracle CPQ.

Here's a real one, anonymized. A Salesforce-based SaaS company had built its own CPQ inside Salesforce. It quoted new deals fine. But co-terms lived in one finance manager's memory, and the hand-off from sales to finance produced missed and past-due invoices. The company didn't need more Salesforce customization. It needed amendments that started from the contract and Billing that read the same quote. It chose MonetizeNow, partly because our own team ran the implementation instead of a third-party partner.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Salesforce Revenue Cloud cost?

Salesforce lists Revenue Cloud Growth at $150 per user per month and Revenue Cloud Advanced at $200 per user per month, billed annually. Revenue Cloud is an add-on to Sales Cloud, so you pay for Sales Cloud licenses too, and Salesforce sells Invoice Management separately. Budget for implementation services on top of license costs.

What's the difference between Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud?

Salesforce CPQ is Salesforce's original quoting product, now end of sale to new customers. Revenue Cloud, now part of Agentforce Revenue Management, is the successor and adds contracts, orders, consumption and invoicing in its Advanced edition. Existing Salesforce CPQ customers can keep renewing, but moving to Revenue Cloud means migrating to a different product, not flipping an upgrade switch.

Which CPQ tools let RevOps set up pricing rules and approvals without developers?

MonetizeNow and DealHub both let RevOps set up pricing rules and approvals without developers. MonetizeNow adds on-demand sandboxes to test changes and runs Billing off the same rules, so a pricing change doesn't need a second update in a billing system. Tools built on Salesforce, such as Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud, usually need certified Salesforce admins for complex rule changes.

What quote-to-cash software works with both HubSpot and Salesforce?

MonetizeNow is CRM-agnostic: it works with HubSpot, Salesforce and Attio, and covers CPQ, Billing, Usage Metering and Revenue Recognition. DealHub also connects to both CRMs. Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Nue and Zuora CPQ run on Salesforce only, and HubSpot Revenue Hub runs on HubSpot only. If you run both CRMs or might switch, choose a CPQ that treats each as a first-class integration.

How long does a CPQ implementation for Salesforce take?

A CPQ implementation for Salesforce takes anywhere from a few weeks to many months, depending on the tool and how much custom logic you carry over. Built-on-Salesforce tools with complex rules often run for months with a partner. MonetizeNow implements in-house with an expected go-live of 2 to 4 weeks, including migrating your live contracts.

The bottom line

Every CPQ for Salesforce can produce a first quote. The difference is every amendment, renewal and usage invoice after it.

Sales picked a CPQ. Finance picked Billing. Nothing connects them. MonetizeNow fixes that by running Quoting, Billing, Usage Metering and Revenue Recognition on one contract, synced to native Salesforce objects, with no developers needed to change your pricing. If you want to see the reps' side first, here's how Quoting works in MonetizeNow. Or bring your messiest Salesforce deal and we'll model it live.
