The short answer: The best Nue alternatives for B2B SaaS are MonetizeNow, DealHub, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Maxio, Chargebee and Zuora. Choose by your CRM, where Billing lives and who does the implementation. Nue is Salesforce-native and often implemented by partner firms, so HubSpot teams and teams that want the vendor to build it usually look elsewhere.
Key takeaways
- Nue is built natively on Salesforce, and its website lists no native HubSpot integration.
- Nue runs an Implementation and Strategic Partner program, and outside consultancies sell Nue implementation services, so the team that demos Nue may not be the team that builds it.
- Nue's own integration page says RightRev, a separate product, handles the ASC 606 revenue calculations.
- The strongest Nue alternatives differ most on three things: which CRMs they support, whether Billing runs in the same system as Quoting, and who implements them.
- If you are staying on Salesforce and already have a partner you trust, Nue can still be a good choice.
Here's a pattern I see in almost every Nue evaluation. The demo goes great. The interface looks clean. Then someone asks, "Who's actually going to build this for us?" and the room gets quiet.
I spent about a decade at NetSuite and NetSuite partners before running sales here, so I've sat on the partner side of that question. This post covers the Nue alternatives worth a look in 2026, what separates them, and the questions that save you from a painful go-live.
What is Nue, and why do teams look for Nue alternatives?
Nue is a Salesforce-native quote-to-revenue tool for B2B SaaS that combines CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), subscription management and billing inside Salesforce. Nue uses standard Salesforce objects for products, pricing and quotes, so reps never leave Salesforce. Nue supports subscription, usage and credit-based pricing, and it raised a $20M Series A in 2025.
Nue is a real product with real fans. In our own deals, buyers have praised Nue's interface and its natural-language quoting. So why do teams look for Nue alternatives? Three reasons come up again and again:
- They aren't on Salesforce, or they're leaving it. Nue lives inside Salesforce. A HubSpot or Attio team has no native path.
- They want the vendor to implement it. Nue implementations are often delivered through partner firms, which adds a second contract and a second team to manage.
- They want Billing and revenue in one place. Nue relies on RightRev for revenue recognition, so finance ends up running another system.
Who implements Nue, and why does it matter?
Nue implementations are frequently delivered by implementation partners rather than Nue's own team. Nue runs an Implementation and Strategic Partner track, and Salesforce consultancies sell Nue projects directly. Operatus, for example, advertises 10+ Nue implementation projects. Before you sign, ask who will build your Nue implementation.
Partner-led implementation isn't automatically bad. I worked at NetSuite partners, and good partners exist. But every handoff is a chance to lose something. Think of it as a game of telephone. You explain your pricing to the vendor's sales team. They hand it to a partner. The partner hands it to a consultant who's never been on a call with you. By the time it reaches the build, "ramped seats with a 7% uplift on renewal" has become "seats."
A partner-led implementation also changes the paperwork and the relationship:
- Two contracts. You sign the software subscription with the vendor and a separate statement of work with the partner.
- Hourly risk. Partner work is often billed by the hour, so every surprise in your pricing model becomes a change order.
- Two support lines. After go-live, a broken renewal can bounce between the vendor and the partner while your invoice sits unsent.
- Borrowed expertise. Your admin learns the system from a consultant who rolls off the project, not from the people who build the product.
Two of our recent wins came down to exactly this. A Director of RevOps at a B2B SaaS company told us she was leaning toward Nue until she learned its implementation would run through a third-party partner. She'd been through that before, and the information loss and weaker relationship weren't worth it. In another deal, a finance manager who was not a Salesforce admin narrowed it to us and Nue. She wanted the tool she could run herself without consultant hours, and the partner-led services model counted against Nue.
Questions to ask any vendor on your list:
- Are the people implementing us your employees or a partner's?
- Is the implementation a fixed fee or billed by the hour?
- Who do we call when a renewal quote or invoice is wrong after go-live, and how fast do they answer?
- Will our own admin be able to change pricing rules and approvals without paying for help?
What should you look for in a Nue alternative?
A good Nue alternative fits your CRM today and in two years, runs Billing on the same contract record as Quoting, handles your pricing model without custom code, and comes with an implementation team you can actually reach. Feature lists look alike. These five criteria are where the options split:
- CRM fit. Salesforce-only tools are fine until your company moves to HubSpot. Check which CRMs have native, two-way integrations.
- Billing on the same contract. When Billing reads the same contract the quote created, amendments, co-terms and renewals bill correctly without re-keying. When Billing is a separate system, someone reconciles the two every month.
- Usage and hybrid pricing. If you sell a base fee plus usage, prepaid credits or minimum commits, make every vendor demo your real pricing, not their sample catalog.
- Revenue recognition. Know whether revenue schedules come from the same system or a third product.
- Admin without code. Your RevOps team should be able to change products, pricing rules and approvals on a Tuesday afternoon without a developer.
If you want the long version of why Billing belongs next to Quoting, I've written about why SaaS billing is so hard.
What are the best Nue alternatives for mid-market B2B SaaS?
The best Nue alternatives for mid-market B2B SaaS companies are MonetizeNow, DealHub, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Maxio, Chargebee and Zuora. MonetizeNow and DealHub fit teams on more than one CRM. Salesforce Revenue Cloud and Zuora fit teams committed to Salesforce. Maxio and Chargebee fit teams where billing is the main job.
1. MonetizeNow
- Best for: B2B SaaS teams that want CPQ, Billing and Usage Metering on one contract record, implemented by the vendor's own team.
- Works with: Salesforce, HubSpot and Attio, with native integrations to each.
- Billing: Billing runs on the same contract the quote created, so amendments, co-terms, early renewals and usage bill without re-keying. Invoices sync to NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero or Rillet.
- Worth knowing: Our own team implements every customer, and every customer gets a dedicated customer success team, usually in a shared Slack channel.
MonetizeNow is a Quote-to-Revenue solution for B2B SaaS covering CPQ, Billing, Usage Metering and Revenue Recognition. Your CRM and ERP stay in place. Reps can also build a quote with AI: just say what you want out loud, and MonetizeNow drafts the quote for review. Here's our full MonetizeNow vs Nue comparison.
2. DealHub
- Best for: Sales-led teams that want guided selling, digital DealRooms and contract management alongside CPQ.
- Works with: Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Billing: DealHub added subscription management, billing and revenue recognition when it acquired Subskribe in November 2025.
- Worth knowing: The billing side came from an acquisition, so ask how much of the CPQ and Billing experience is one product today. See our guide to DealHub alternatives for more.
3. Salesforce Revenue Cloud
- Best for: Larger teams committed to Salesforce for the long haul, with in-house Salesforce admins.
- Works with: Salesforce only.
- Billing: Revenue Cloud Billing is sold as a complementary product to Revenue Cloud Advanced.
- Worth knowing: Salesforce no longer sells Salesforce CPQ licenses to new customers. Revenue Cloud Advanced is the path Salesforce points buyers to. Our best CPQ for Salesforce roundup compares the options.
4. Maxio
- Best for: Finance-led teams that care most about billing, SaaS metrics and revenue recognition.
- Works with: Salesforce and HubSpot.
- Billing: Billing is Maxio's core. Signed quotes from Maxio CPQ sync into Maxio Billing.
- Worth knowing: Maxio CPQ launched in July 2025, after Maxio acquired RevOps.io, so Quoting is the newer half. Here's our take on Maxio alternatives.
5. Chargebee
- Best for: Subscription businesses where billing, payments and dunning (chasing failed payments) are the main job, including self-serve sign-ups.
- Works with: Salesforce and HubSpot.
- Billing: Chargebee CPQ runs on the same billing engine as Chargebee Billing, so a signed quote becomes a subscription without re-entry.
- Worth knowing: Chargebee is billing-first. Teams with complex sales-led quoting should test their hardest deal structures in the demo.
6. Zuora
- Best for: Large subscription businesses with complex billing and a Salesforce team to run it.
- Works with: Salesforce, through Zuora CPQ, a managed package installed in Salesforce.
- Billing: When a deal closes, the quote is sent to Zuora, which creates the subscription. Zuora Billing then handles invoicing, payments and renewals.
- Worth knowing: Quotes live in Salesforce and subscriptions live in Zuora, so the two systems stay connected by a sync.
When is Nue still the right choice?
Nue is still a good choice for teams that are staying on Salesforce for the long term, want every quote and subscription stored as standard Salesforce objects, and already have a Salesforce partner they trust to implement and support it. If that describes you, Nue's Salesforce-native design is a real advantage, not a drawback.
Nue also handles subscription, usage and credit-based pricing, and buyers like how its interface looks. If you don't care where your quoting tool lives and you'd rather buy implementation from a consultancy, Nue deserves a spot on your shortlist. Just go in knowing that revenue recognition runs through RightRev and that HubSpot isn't natively supported.
How do you switch off Nue without breaking Billing?
To switch off Nue safely, migrate your active contracts (not just your product catalog), go live before your Nue renewal date, and run at least one billing cycle where you compare invoices from both systems. The contract is what drives the next amendment, renewal and invoice, so it has to come over complete.
- Start with your Nue renewal date. Work backward from the renewal date and notice period. Ask your new vendor about a delayed subscription start so you aren't paying for two tools at once.
- Migrate contracts, not just products. Start and end dates, ramps, uplifts, co-terms and prepaid credit balances all need to come over. Without them, your first renewal quote is wrong.
- Check one billing cycle side by side. Compare a month of invoices from the new system against what Nue would have sent before you turn Nue off.
- Decide where revenue recognition lives. If you were sending data from Nue to RightRev, decide whether revenue schedules now come from your new system, your ERP or a separate tool.
Frequently asked questions
Is Nue Salesforce-native?
Yes. Nue is built natively on Salesforce and uses standard Salesforce objects for products, pricing and quotes. Sales and customer success teams see subscriptions, usage and invoices inside Salesforce. That's a strength for teams staying on Salesforce and a limitation for teams on HubSpot, Attio or another CRM.
Does Nue integrate with HubSpot?
Nue's website lists no native HubSpot integration. HubSpot connections to Nue run through third-party integration tools such as tray.ai. If your company runs on HubSpot, or may move to HubSpot, look at Nue alternatives with native HubSpot integrations, such as MonetizeNow, DealHub, Maxio or Chargebee.
Does Nue handle revenue recognition?
Nue handles billing and invoicing, and its own integration page says RightRev handles the ASC 606 revenue recognition calculations. When you activate an order in Nue, the integration creates a revenue contract in RightRev. Plan for RightRev as a separate product if revenue recognition is in scope.
Who implements Nue?
Nue implementations are often delivered by implementation partners. Nue runs an Implementation and Strategic Partner program, and consultancies such as Operatus and Ravus sell Nue implementation services. Ask any vendor whether its own employees or a partner will do your implementation, and how support works after go-live.
Which quote-to-cash software works with both HubSpot and Salesforce?
Quote-to-cash software that works natively with both HubSpot and Salesforce includes MonetizeNow, DealHub, Maxio and Chargebee. MonetizeNow also supports Attio. Nue, Salesforce Revenue Cloud and Zuora CPQ are tied to Salesforce. If you might change CRMs, choose a tool that supports both.
The bottom line
Nue is a solid Salesforce-native tool, but it isn't built for every team. If you're on HubSpot, want Billing on the same contract as Quoting, or want the people who built the product to implement it, you have better options. MonetizeNow gives you CPQ, Billing, Usage Metering and Revenue Recognition on one contract, works with Salesforce, HubSpot and Attio, and is implemented by our own team. We make monetizing your business effortless.
